Out-of-town patients can request a "Bariatric Packet" by contacting our office. We individually make each packet. The packet includes; information about us, the hospital, our surgical procedures, where to stay, information on preoperative and postoperative care and how we strive to make sure distances is not a barrier! New York Bariatrics emphasizes the importance of patient care and the need to make the patient feel comfortable with our "Bariatric Team". Our "Bariatric Team" consists of knowledgeable bariatric assistants, nurses, an in-house psychotherapist (Lori Sperling Nevins, L.C.S.W.) and our personal bariatric dietitian (Denise Addorisio, RD) . New York Bariatrics provides bi - monthly free professionally run
support groups, e-mail access and offices visits. We want our patients
to know we are here to help them, throughout their experience!
